Each competition flight consists of several sections - Figures. Each figure has prescribed shape
of flight trajectory and may contain some elements like rolls or spins.
Like musicians use notes for writing music, we use
Aresti symbols for drawing aerobatic figures.
International Aerobatic Club, Inc. has very good pages describing aerobatic figures.
There is excellent The CIVA Judging Tutorial for 2019 (PDF 1,97 MiB) where the figures are described illustratively.
